This motorcycle was the first mass-produced motorcycle in Japan at the beginning of Showa period. It had a frame made of press-formed steel sheet and is well known as a popular model that took advantage of the efficiencies of mass production and sold a total of 40,000 units. This model cannot be found in public museums, because it was considered so commonplace that it was rarely preserved.
