Japan's first application of fade resistant and highly stable 4-wheel disc brakes, the fine braking performance of the 2000GT was suitable for a world-class gran turismo sports car. The system was equipped with a brake booster (vacuum booster) to ensure high braking force with small pedal effort. An automatic adjustment device was attached to the front brakes, and the rear brakes also featured a hand brake caliper. The hand brake operated a stick handle that slides inside a pipe, and a pulley was used in the bending portion to improve hand brake performance. |
