AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPOSITION 2026 NAGOYA to be held from June 17–19

The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. (JSAE), chaired by Hiroki Nakajima, will hold the AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPOSITION 2026 NAGOYA at Aichi Sky Expo (Aichi International Exhibition Center) from Wednesday, June 17 through Friday, June 19, 2026.
Marking its 10th on-site exposition in Nagoya, this year’s exposition will be the largest ever, featuring 541 exhibitors and 1,118 booths.
As with the YOKOHAMA exposition held in May, the JSAE Special Exhibits will be organized under the theme:
The Future of Cars and Mobility Created Through Integration with New Technologies
— Automotive Technology Innovated Through DX and Co-Creation —
The exposition will feature special exhibits and presentations organized around three perspectives:
- The evolution of the car enabled by DX
- The evolution of society and services surrounding the car
- The evolution of manufacturing
Highlights
Special Technical Presentation “Material Innovations for Future Mobility”
Under the theme “Material Innovations for Future Mobility,” this special technical presentation will introduce cutting-edge material technologies that are becoming key drivers of competitiveness in the automotive industry. As the industry undergoes significant transformation through electrification, digitalization, and carbon-neutral initiatives, experts will present the latest developments from multiple perspectives, highlighting the strengths of industrial clusters in the region.
Forum NAGOYA
Held concurrently with the exposition, Forum NAGOYA will offer on-site lectures covering the latest trends and future outlooks in automotive technology, the automotive industry, and related fields.
Immersive In-Vehicle Sound & Visual Experience
Following its popularity last year, the Immersive In-Vehicle Sound & Visual Experience returns in 2026.
Dolby Atmos® immersive audio and the vivid visual expression of Dolby Vision® transform the vehicle cabin into a home-theater-like environment. Visitors can experience a next-generation entertainment space where sound and visuals come together in unprecedented ways.
Exhibition of New Cars and Vehicles Featuring New Technologies
Taking advantage of the venue’s expansive exhibition space, the exposition will feature an Exhibition of New Cars and Vehicles Featuring New Technologies.
This interactive program brings together newly launched vehicles and vehicles equipped with advanced technologies, enabling visitors to learn about the technologies incorporated in each vehicle. Participating companies will also host Vehicle Highlights Sessions, where engineers and representatives explain development concepts and technological features directly to visitors.
